Freetown, SIERRA LEONE – Cricket Sierra Leone (CSL) reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and accountability as it hosted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Olympafrica Hall in Goderich.
The AGM, a cornerstone of CSL’s governance structure, brought together key stakeholders, with 20 out of 21 fully compliant clubs in attendance—forming a decisive quorum empowered to approve, amend, or reject any resolutions or reports.
One of the highlights of the meeting was the adoption of the 2024 Audited Financial Statements (AFS), a move that reinforced CSL’s dedication to financial integrity. Additionally, members unanimously approved the organization’s Budget and Operational Plan for 2025, setting the stage for the next phase of development in Sierra Leonean cricket.
Since assuming office on June 24, 2021, the administration led by Francis has consistently upheld its commitment to engaging Council Members through regular AGMs, ensuring that the cricketing fraternity remains informed and actively involved in CSL’s operational and strategic direction.
This latest AGM not only underscored CSL’s progress but also paved the way for another year of growth and innovation in the sport. BT/30/3/2025
