Freetown, SIERRA LEONE – James Albert, one of the founding members of Black Leo Entertainment, has reached out to the label’s CEO, Kao Denero, on behalf of talented lyricist Fahim.
In his letter, Albert writes, “Dear Ambassador Kao Denero, I am writing to address the ongoing impasse between you and Fahim, which has hindered the joyous moments once celebrated by hip-hop fans who have supported the Black Leo crew.”
He continues, “As a founding member of the Black Leo Family, alongside Kelvin Large, Hakim, Black Jews, Kalala, and others, our vision has always been to not only establish your dominance but also to strengthen the Black Leo label in promoting our genre. I take pride in having contributed to your growth.”
Albert emphasizes the hard work that has gone into elevating Black Leo, but he notes that the current standstill has stunted the label’s progress. “It is imperative to reassess the situation and consider bringing Fahim back into the fold. Like everyone, Fahim is human and capable of making mistakes,” he states.
He concludes by urging unity within the community, saying, “If we can collectively forgive artists like PIZZY or Problem M, we should extend the same grace to Fahim.” MJB/21/9/2024
