“We are calling on young people to stay away from harmful substances like Kush, avoid crime, and reject activities like prostitution. Instead, we invite them to join gymnastics, where they can build discipline, resilience, and a brighter future,” she emphasized.

She highlighted that gymnastics is a lifelong sportthat not only enhances physical and mental well-being but also opens doors to opportunities both locally and internationally.

“Our goal is to empower the youth so they can become successful in life, explore different parts of the world, and ultimately pass on their skills to future generations,” she concluded.

With dedicated leadership, structured training, and increased youth participation, Coach Kamara believes that Sierra Leone’s gymnastics scene is poised for a breakthrough. As the federation continues its efforts to strengthen the sport, all eyes will be on the country’s gymnasts as they strive for international excellence. BT/31/3/2025
