A Glorious Celebration of Grace, Legacy, and Purpose

DR. LAURETTA WILL SILLAH

This past weekend in Atlanta, Georgia, hearts were full and spirits lifted as family, friends, and well-wishers gathered to celebrate a towering pillar of faith, education, and community transformation—Dr. Lauretta Will Sillah—on the majestic occasion of her 70th birthday.

A proud daughter of Sierra Leone, Dr. Sillah stands as a shining symbol of visionary leadership, compassion, and enduring impact. Her life’s journey—marked by tireless service and unwavering faith—has left indelible footprints both across her native homeland and the United States.

From rural classrooms to international ministries, her work has become a living testimony to the power of purpose and grace in motion.

Dr. Sillah is the trailblazing founder of:

Destiny Christian Academy (DCA) in Moseilolo—a beacon of hope where over 600 once-unschooled children from 13 villages in Bagruwa Chiefdom, Moyamba District, now receive quality education and a renewed chance at life;

Women in Ministry International (WIMI), Sierra Leone—a vibrant network empowering women through mentorship, leadership training, and microenterprise initiatives;

People’s Foundation for Humanity Development (PeFoHD)—formerly the Dr. Lauretta Education Foundation—a dynamic force driving educational access, gender empowerment, and humanitarian aid across communities in need.

On behalf of the radiant women of WIMI, the dedicated teachers and staff of Destiny Christian Academy, the more than 600 blossoming pupils, and the committed team at PeFoHD—we offer our heartfelt thanks:

Thank you, Dr. Lauretta, for answering the call of destiny and allowing your life to be a vessel of divine purpose and generational transformation.

Today, we honor your life, your love, and your legacy.

Dr. Lauretta Will Sillah and her 4 sons, Alieu, Marcus, Alusain and Anwar.

💐 HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY, MA! 💐
We pray for your continued strength, divine health, and overflowing impact in Jesus’ name.

— With deepest love, gratitude, and admiration, from all those whose lives you’ve so powerfully touched.
