The International Amateur Kabaddi Federation (IAKF) has approved the membership of the Sierra Leone Kabaddi Association headed by Sonny Johnson.
According to the President of the Sierra Leone Kabaddi Association, Sonny Johnson, the approval of his association was based on the rapid improvement being made within the country since the inception of the sports for more than a decade ago.
“Today, we received our certificate of membership from the International Amateur Kabaddi Federation and our package as an affiliate member,” he said.
“We participated in the World Kabaddi Championship in 2012, 2013, in Punjab and Delhi and also in Pakistan 2017; it’s because of all that, the IAKF has recognized us and today they’ve issued us a certify of membership and a membership’s package.” BT/4/7/2023
