Freetown, SIERRA LEONE – Cricket Sierra Leone (CSL) has unveiled a formidable 20-woman squad set to represent the nation at the upcoming BCA Kalahari Women’s T20 Tournament in Botswana. From April 24 to May 1, 2025, Gaborone will come alive as Sierra Leone battles Mozambique, Eswatini, Kuwait, and host nation Botswana in this exciting cricket showdown.
The tournament promises intense competition, featuring:
- 14 action-packed matches
- 70 of Africa’s finest women cricketers
- At least 4 matches for Sierra Leone, with a potential 5th if they reach the finals
The Lionesses are no strangers to success in this tournament. After their runner-up finish in 2018 and a dominant three-year reign as NWACC champions, expectations are high for another strong showing.
Sierra Leone will begin their campaign against Mozambique on Saturday, April 26th – a crucial match that could set the tone for their tournament run.
