As a proud subsidiary of the UBA Group, we have once again showcased our prowess on the international stage by clinching the title of the 2023 Best Bank of the Year at the Bankers Awards 2023. This event, organized by The Banker Magazine, a publication of the Financial Times of London, the world’s leading business newspaper, is a celebration of excellence in the global banking industry.
The grand ceremony, held in London, United Kingdom on Thursday, 30th November, saw UBA Sierra Leone receiving highly coveted awards, including Bank of the Year Africa 2023, reinforcing our position as the leading financial institution in Sierra Leone. Through our relentless dedication to innovation and customer-centricity, we have set a new standard for banking in Sierra Leone.

This marks the second time in the past three years that the Bank has won the regional award as the best bank in Africa. In Sierra Leone, UBA has now clinched this prestigious award for the fifth consecutive time since 2019.
