Freetown, SIERRA LEONE – In a gesture of unwavering friendship and support, popular businessman J & J, based in Kono, has presented Speedo’o, the acclaimed rapper, with a lavish gift—a brand new Charger vehicle valued at approximately $30,000.
The bond between J & J and Speedo’o runs deep, spanning years of camaraderie and mutual respect. For those familiar with their enduring friendship, the generous gift comes as no surprise, reflecting the genuine connection between the two.
Born Sahr B. Kaimachiande on October 23rd, 1991, in Koidu, Kono district, Speedo’o is hailed as one of Sierra Leone’s most talented rappers. His journey into the world of music began at a young age, with his passion for rhythm and rhyme evident from childhood.
Attending Koidu Secondary School and later completing his education in Liberia, Speedo’o honed his musical skills, culminating in the release of his debut single, “Want To Be,” at the tender age of 12.
Throughout his career, Speedo’o has embraced various monikers, including G.Fro.Fro Mic, Hip Hop Bullet, and African Weezy. His collaboration with the group “Easy Life” marked a significant milestone, laying the foundation for his ascent in the music industry.
In 2013, under the guidance of former vice president Son TanTan B, Speedo’o’s trajectory soared, leading to notable performances alongside renowned artists like Sarkodie. His accolades include winning the prestigious ‘Artist of the Year Africa’ and ‘Best Collaboration’ at the Liberia Music Awards in 2016.
Venturing into entrepreneurship, Speedo’o established his own venture, the “TOTTM” Talk Of The Town Movement, showcasing his multifaceted talents beyond the realm of music.
