Freetown, SIERRA LEONE – Sierra Leone’s beloved musical duo, Krack Twist and Samza, have officially reunited after a three-year hiatus – and their comeback is already making waves across the West African music scene.

The two lyrical powerhouses, known for their dynamic stage presence and captivating storytelling, parted ways in 2021 to explore solo ventures. Now, they’re back together and stronger than ever, teaming up with Nigeria’s fast-rising star, Uchechi Emeleonye – popularly known as Chechii – on a brand-new single titled “Mi Paddi.”

Set for release this April on all major streaming platforms, “Mi Paddi” is a vibrant cross-border collaboration that blends afrobeat rhythms with heartfelt lyrics. The track celebrates friendship, loyalty, and emotional connection – wrapped in warm melodies and infectious energy.

Chechii brings her smooth and soulful vocals to the project, offering a refreshing feminine touch that beautifully complements Krack Twist and Samza’s signature lyrical flow. The single was produced by the renowned Thy Young, with executive production by Ponfa and co-executive production by Kabaka, under Emulux Records.

For fans, this reunion is a moment of joy – and a source of intrigue. Is this a one-time collaboration, or the beginning of a new musical chapter for Krack Twist and Samza? The duo has remained tight-lipped, opting to let the music do the talking.

One thing is certain: “Mi Paddi” arrives at a time when African music lovers are craving authenticity, unity, and creativity. With Chechii’s rising profile in Nigeria and the unmistakable chemistry between Krack Twist and Samza, the track is poised to resonate widely, both at home and abroad.

Whether this marks a permanent return or a celebratory one-off, “Mi Paddi” stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and the enduring bond between artists. It’s more than a song – it’s a statement. AIM/12/4/2025
